She kicked off her shoes and let go some of the bows from her outfit, hoping this would be enough, not wanting to lose her weapons in case she washed up somewhere.

Sakuya continued to struggle against the whirlpool but it seemed to be of no use. She could only hope that the force that was causing it would cease to be a factor or that she didn't drown.

Just as she seemed to be making some progress she could feel her body tiring out, she didn't know if she could continue much longer.

It was just not possible for Sakuya's tiny body to fight the powerful pull of the vortex. She did however have some brief moments where she could almost swim away from it, but her body couldn't maintain the pace. Sakuya was pulled back into the whirlpool, she clashes violently into the side of the boat and loses consciousness after hitting her head.

She's sucked into the whirlpool along with the ship and all the dead soldiers.  Underwater Sakuya regains a little bit of her consciousness, just enough to see what was beneath the water. There was no monster, no giant creature. There was only a... man. 

There was a man floating in the middle of the Whirlpool, dressed in black. The man was looking straight at Sakuya and smiled. His teeth were pointy like a shark's and his mouth was also somewhat larger than normal. Who was this man and why did he sink the Ramoan Ship, and why didn't he kill Sakuya?

Hours later Sakuya wakes up on the shore of some island. She was in one of the Yawning Isles an island east of Sunsilk and there was a small hut in the middle of the island.
