Yui got stuck on the second lock. Her luck seems to be running out. Cid was anxiously looking over from the vantage point and felt that something was wrong. Yui was taking way longer than he expected. At this rate, the chances of them getting caught were significantly high. Dagku had just arrived back at camp, he was telling his sister about what he found in the forest. Cid knew he had to do something or else...

Yui felt an unusual sense of urgency, causing her to look over her shoulder and back towards the rest of the camp. She spotted the male re-entering the camp and re-focused herself on the lock, swirling the strange key in the opposite direction this time.

However, she became somewhat frustrated and pressed the key against the lock for a slight moment, hoping in the back of her mind that the thing would just pop open. She knew full well she simply didn't have the time to deal with the thing, knowing that she would likely have to leave the girl behind if she couldn't open the door without being detected.

She considered for a moment to try to tear it open with her newly acquired metal arm, but decided against it. She knew nothing of its strength, plus it would be quite noisy and counter-productive, after all.

Yui was finally able to open the second lock in the cage. The cage doors were now open and they could escape now if they wished. However, Agnes still had a magic binding collar placed on her neck. If this is not removed, she will not be able to use her Magic. When Yui was able to open the second lock, it slammed into the cage making an audible sound that was heard by the twins. They looked over and saw Yui tinkering with the cage locks.

Cid noticed that the Twins were on their way to Yui. In a last ditch effort to stop save the girls, he jumped down from his hiding spot and out into the open. He then called out to the Twins. "Hey! You might want to look this way!"

Cid charged Dagku with his spear, Dagku was quick and strong enough to catch it with his bare hands. Cid looked over to Yui and Agnes and said, "Hurry you two get the heck out of here!!"

Yazgash left her brother to deal with Cid while she went to engage Yui and Agnes. Cid wasn't fairing too well against Dagku who was a tougher and stronger fighter. But his intentions were merely to stall the twins while the girls escape. He noticed that the female Delva was headed over to Yui and Agnes. In order to stop her, Cid unleashed a powerful wind slash skill towards Yazgash. The Delva was keen on the attack and managed to block it with her staff. The skill Cid used was powerful enough to slash through a large stone but it did little damage against Yazgash.

Cid's momentary laps of attention cause him to open himself up for an attack by Dagku. Dagku was able to stab Cid in the side of his torso. It wasn't a fatal wound but it could turn out to be if not treated immediately. "What are you waiting for go!!" Cid yelled out again to Yui.

*Yui has a chance to escape now or to unlock Agnes' spell binding collar.*

Yui grabbed the door and swung it open the moment that the lock hit the cage, her sense of urgency causing her to immediately assume she'd been detected. She was actually somewhat scared, showing a rather concerned look on her face as she grabbed the girl by the arm with her metal arm and practically tore her out of the cage.

She wasn't going to give her a chance to fall behind, after all. Unfortunately Cid's yelling confirmed her detection as she started running, nearly dragging the girl behind her as she made her way in the direction of the ship.

Yui glanced over her shoulder as she ran, catching a glimpse of Cid attacking the male. She felt a deep regret over having to leave him behind, but she figured that if she were lucky she could come back to help him after depositing the girl back at the ship.

Regrettably there was no time to undo the lock on the girls collar, since running took a lot of focus to avoid falling flat on her face. She completely forgot about the lack of sensitivity in her metal arm, gripping onto the girls arm tight enough that it will most certainly leave a mark.

While Agnes and Yui escaped, Cid was left to face the Delva Twins alone. The situation didn't bode well for him. Agnes was far stronger that Cid when she faced the twins in Riverun and yet the Twins were able to toy with her during that bout. This time, they needed to take Cid out as soon as possible and then retrieve Agnes from Yui. Yazgash didn't waste anymore time, she charged an Ultima Bolt, a very powerful destructive spell known only to a select few, and cast it upon Cid.

It was a coordinated attack from the two, Dagku was keeping Cid at bay while his sister attacked from the distance. Cid was fortunate enough to have gotten his guard up when the Ultima Bolt impacted right in front on him. The blast was so powerful that it could be seen from where the Sierra was. The crew did not approve of the sight, they knew something was wrong and they feared their captain might be in danger.

Cid is sent tumbling out from the explosion. He has sustained major injuries, one of which was a lost limb. The blast vaporized his left leg from knee down. The situation was looking dire, Cid didn't have the strength to stand up anymore, but he still chose to fight. He needed to keep the twins busy until the Sierra takes off. Once in the air, there was no way the Twins could catch up to his ship.

Yazgash was about to run off to chase Yui and Agnes but she was stopped by Cid's flying spear. The attack did only minor damage to Yazgash, a flesh wound on her right arm. Dagku signals his sister to go on ahead while he took care of this beat up Dragonqin. She nods and runs off into the forest to find the two girls. Meanwhile Dagku slowly walks up to Cid, getting ready to finish him off.

Yui was confused by the girls offering of meat once more, smacking it out of her face as she came to a stop. It was hard to hide an airship, even a grounded one. She had dragged the girl just far enough to be able to clearly see a section of the ship, turning around at the sound of the explosion and then turning to Agnes. 

She released the girls arm and took hold of one of the girls hands, forcing the girls hand open so she could quickly slam the key into it and ensure that the girl wouldn't drop it. She was in a rush to return as she pointed and did her best to indicate to Agnes that the airship was the place to go, taking a few steps back before turning toward the direction they had come from. 

Yui absolutely knew that it was a bad idea as she began spinning her spear overhead, twirling it fancifully as she lowered it, spun it around herself and thrust it into the air. She left the ground with a strong gust of wind, kicking up dirt and sticks as she took to the sky. 

The crew of the airship could make out a notable red figure raising to the sky, going higher and higher in order to get the distance she needed to make it back to Cid. She did her best to emulate the dragonqin once she hit the apex of her jump, falling backwards as gravity took hold and using that momentum to swing herself toward where she wanted to be. 

She started twirling with her spear, generating some amount of force to drive her forward with her movements. It was nowhere near what Cid could do,  but she tried her best, quickly making herself dizzy as she flew through the air and tried to guide herself back to Cid. 

(OOC: All those Jump Miss jokes are coming into play.  Isshin, it is now up to you to determine if she makes it to Cid,  the dome, or wherever. Figured I'd make it interesting.. Hehe.)

Yui was able to perform the Move Cid showed her but she during her decent, Yazgash suddenly intercepted Yui. She collided with the human mid air and brought her down into the ground. She was still far away from where Cid was and is not able to physically view Cid and the other Delva. Yazgash lands a few feet away from Yui, unhurt and says, "You shouldn't poke your nose in other people's business"

Meanwhile Cid could do very little against Dagku without his spear. He is lucky enough to have survived this long against Dagku without a weapon. Even without his leg, Cid was able to move away and avoid Dagku's attacks. But he was losing a lot of blood and his stamina is almost depleted.

The crew of the Sierra helped Agnes board the airship. Seeing her come in alone made them realize that their captain was in a pretty bad situation. But they didn't expect Yui to be gone as well. None of the crew members of the Sierra were fighters. They wouldn't be able to do anything except be a nuisance to their captain if they joined the fight. The first mate had orders from Cid to take off once the girl was secured, so he fired up the Sierra's engines and took to the sky.

It felt like a great and heavy burden was lifted off her shoulders after she was able to remove the collar. She didn't have time to play around with her magic though, she had something she must do and though it wasn't the right thing to do~ It was the only thing she thought she could do at the moment.

Agnes went and had a word with the Pilot of the airship. She wasn't surprised at all by the fact that it was an airship, she was from Thantos after all. Airships were plenty in the Imperial Cities. "Take us to over to where they're fighting. Do it or I'll blast your head off and do it myself" Agnes threatened. She didn't want to be violent, but she needed the pilot to obey her quickly. Agnes shot a high powered magic orb through the cockpit window as an example to what will happen to the pilot if he refuses.

Yui was so focused on guiding herself back to the camp that she didn't even see the Delaware,  crashing into her and being driven to the ground. She did her best to correct herself in order to land, but came down too quickly, landing on her feet but unable to stop herself. 

The sheer force and speed causing her to kneel momentarily, then slam onto her face in a cloud of dust. She wheezed with what little sound her throat would produce, the wind being completely knocked out of her. 

She was struggling to get onto her feet as she coughed and fought to regain her focus,  finding it immensely difficult to breathe or clear her sight. 

Her bright idea to return for Cid was very clearly not working out, failing spectacularly after being intercepted in the air unexpectedly. 

She clearly was not in the best of conditions in her current state..

The first mate was in charge of flying the Sierra, he didn't want to disobey Cid's orders but he didn't want to leave his captain behind either. He was hesitant but decided to go with the young girl's suggestion.

"Okay okay! Put that thing down. I'll do as you say." he replied to Agnes.

They few above where Cid and Dagku were fighting and immediately saw there they saw their captain on his last leg, struggling to fight an opponent that was any times stronger than he was. The crew of the Seirra stood there hopelessly watching as their Captain faces his impending doom. They could not help for they weren't warriors and the airship carried no weapons. But they knew they had to do something.

The first mate gave orders to this men to prepare for combat. They would do whatever it takes to save their captain. Meanwhile Cid watches from the ground, knowing that his crew would try something foolish to save his life. "No! Fly away! Go!" Cid yelled.

Yazgash saw the airship fly over them and head towards where her brother is. She was a little bit concerned. Airships are usually used by the Empire, but this one didn't bare the Empire's flag. Still they could have artillery or support troops. But her hands were busy at the moment. The female Delva wanted to dispose of Yui as quickly as possible so she attacked her with a volley of spells.

Agnes blew a very large hole in the Sierra's cockpit. There wasn't much the crew could do but obey girl after seeing her destructive power. They weren't sure what the girl was planning to do with the Sierra but they were in no position to argue. The First mate told the crew to abandon ship. He didn't approve of the girl's methods, perhaps she was using them as sacrifice so that she could escape.

With a heavy heart the crew of the Sierra rappelled off the ship, carrying with them some small arms weapons. They were ready to defend their Captain or at least die trying. Cid saw his crew evacuating the ship. He didn't approve of his crew's actions at all. He didn't bring them here to die. The last thing that he wanted was the blood of his crew on his hands. Cid's crew fired arrows and threw spears at Dagku. They were obviously not trained warriors and Dagku had no trouble dealing with their attacks.

Yui had just managed to regain her senses and get to her feet when her vision went completely white for a moment, her face feeling as if she had just been smacked with a large ball of some sort. Her feet left the ground from the attack as her head tilted back, her body bending over backwards as the force was to knock her over.

Before she could land, however, similar attacks landed upon her right shoulder, left elbow, right leg and stomach. The repeated hits causing her body to jerk left and right in the air, as if she were having some sort of fit.

And just like that, her vision darkened. Yui had completely failed to help Cid and, as a result, was defeated so easily as to achieve nothing. Her body fell with no immediate outward signs of severe injury, slumping into a heap on the ground as she lost consciousness. 

Many of the injuries were internal, sparing anyone who cared from a grizzly sight. The trauma and injury were all directed inward, so nobody would be able to ascertain exactly how severe her situation was.

But it was likely quite dire.

(OOC: Yui has died, I assume. Sorry for the delay. I see no need to post the whole template just for HP, since it's clearly WELL OVER what Yui could possibly deal with. So straight numbers to keep it simple. My apologies for that as well.)
