Yui was ready to make the first move, taking one step forward as she began to move her spear into a suitable position to strike. However, the vampire was much faster than she had anticipated. 

The difference between her and the vampiric woman in terms of speed was noticeable, as Yui found it hard to keep her eyes on the woman as she seemed to lean forward, as if she were about to charge. 

And then it hit her, the full force of something plowing straight into her gut. She didn't didn't have the time to see what she had been hit with, the sheer force causing Yui to double over as her feet left the ground slightly.

Yui's body turned as it lifted into the air, leaning back as it moved a few steps back in the direction she had just come from. She felt a moment of nausea before her vision faded, struggling for breath as she collapsed on her back onto the floor.

She quickly found herself reaching for her throat, as she simply couldn't seem to get enough oxygen into her body. Her vision was beginning to fade as she choked and coughed on the ground, things obviously not having gone her way whatsoever.

(OOC Notes: The Second Wind was going to be her attempting to stay conscious.)
