Yui could feel the ground vibrating as the creature charged her, its large size simply shaking the earth as she charged towards it. Her eyes looked over the creature carefully, determining what she needed to do to not get eaten.

She needed to time this exactly right, as she didn't want to take any more risks than she had to. Her movements were that of someone who had been fighting the entire time, her mental state after making her choice and Ikas's taunts making her feel completely exhausted.

Yui had no time to deal with her mental crap, sparks shooting up from under the metal heels of her boots as she stepped over the occasional rock and picked up speed, pushing herself to go faster.

She closed the distance with the drangling easily, since the two were headed towards one another. Time seemed to slow down for Yui as she poured as much as she could into focusing on the timing, the drangling moving slowly as images flashed in her mind of what would happen if she missed.

"You do all this for a child!" Ikas' voice rang out in her mind, scolding her as she continued. "This is pointless, worthless! The child will never repay their debt to you! Leave it!" She continued, her voice booming in Yui's head and nearly distracting her from the timing she needed.

Yui did her best to ignore Ikas, waiting until the last second and her last step in order to raise her foot up higher than usual, planting her foot atop the creatures head as it tried to attack her. She exhaled heavily and poured just enough strength into that leg to allow her to give a little hop with the opposite, crouching down atop the dranglings head.

She poured every ounce of strength she had into her legs, forcing the creatures head to the ground as she forced herself into the air, becoming somewhat blurry as she picked up speed and ascended into the skies.

Many of the dranglings were on the ground killing people, so she held her spear close and closed her eyes, taking this moment to relax as she neared the clouds.

"I don't care." She thought to herself, causing Ikas to get angrier in her mind as she continued to try to argue to Yui that there was no point to her actions, though her arguments were starting to become rather illegible and allowed Yui to tune her out more easily.

The Drangling saw Yui jump into the air, it too had wings and decide to follow Yui as she ascended. All the while it was getting ready to fire it's Flare attack.

Yui leaned against her spear, doing a slow flip as she reached the height of her jump. She could feel the wind stop, then resume as she slowed to a stop and proceeded back down toward the ground.

She opened her eyes to see the Drangling heading towards her, trying to fly up after her to try and catch her. She'd have less time to react, so she spun her spear around and placed one leg on the very end of the blade, where it jut out just slightly past the shaft.

With her rapidly increasing speed and the creature flying up at her, it took only a matter of seconds for her to meet her target, doing her best to try to guide her spear straight into the creatures face..

The Drangling was struck back to the ground by Yui's spear. But unfortunately it landed on it's feet and only took minor damage from Yui's attack. It's tough Dragon Scales prevented Yui's blade from doing any significant damage.

The Drangling opened it's mouth full of teeth and shot two Flares at Yui. The fire was so intense that it turn the ground into molten lava only miliseconds after being exposed to the Dranglings flaming breath.

Yui forced the creature to the ground and pulled her spear from it, hopping off of it only to find herself engulfed in the flames it was belching out. She closed her eyes, knowing full well that she couldn't avoid it at the range she was at and struck out with her spear, trying to get a hit in as she did her best to fall back into a defensive stance.

She could hear her armor warping as it tried its best not to melt, bending inward in several locations as the flames poured over it. She could do little more than grit her teeth at the excruciating pain that she was now feeling, her armor completely lit up like it had just come out of the forge..

She knew this fight was not going to last much longer, as it took every ounce of willpower and strength to not pass out from such severe burns.

During the Dragling's Flare, Yui was able to sneak-in a single strike. It was enough to aggravate the Drangling into clawing Yui to shreds. The Drangling quickly charged at Yui and with it's powerful claws, the Drangling hacked away at Yui's frail body.

Result :

Yui's armor was still in good enough condition to provide protection against the creatures powerful attacks, but it simply wasn't enough. She thrust her spear forward through the attacks in an attempt to stun the creature, but was knocked back by a powerful slash.

The torso of her armor was torn open as the claws shredded the warped metal, thankfully eating up most of the claws strike as two large gashes were opened up across her midsection where the armor had been torn away.

Yui couldn't help but be thrown back by the attack, rolling across the ground as blood started to run from the wounds at her stomach. But she did her best to ignore the pain as she forced herself back up to her feet and charged the creature, one hand over her stomach to cover the wound.

She ran up to the creature and, once she was in range, thrust her spear forward toward it. She thrust forward sloppily, then pulled back to try to thrust forward again. She continued this over and over again, finding that using only one hand to do it made it excessively difficult. By this point her energy was tanking out hard, the wound and wielding her spear one handed proved to be incredibly taxing on her..

She could do little more than in front of the creature once her attacks were done, trying her best to bring her spear up into a defensive position.

But she couldn't manage it, hunching over somewhat as she struggled to breathe. Her eyes fixated on the creature with a look of absolute anger plastered on her face, having to place the butt end of her spear to the ground to force herself back to her feet fully.

The Drangling merely brushed off Yui's rain of attacks. It dealt some damage to the creature but wasn't enough to pierce through the Dragon's tough hide. It only made the Drangling more angry it attempted to bite off Yui's arm.

(If the Drangling successfully brings Yui's HP to zero, she will lose an arm and be knocked out)

Yui could do little more than raise her arm to try to stop the attack, practically throwing her arm into the creatures mouth as exhaustion caused her to make a mistake. 

A big mistake, she found, as the creatures mouth clamped down around her left arm and pierced through her armor like it was nothing. She screamed with no sound as her eyes shot open fully, snapping back to attention as she tried to push the creature off of her left arm with her right one.

But the creature needed no assistance to get away from her, nor did it release her arm like she had hoped. Instead pulled away, dragging her ever so slightly from her position before jerking its head violently to the side.

Her flesh came apart as the creature pulled her arm straight off of her, a sickening tearing sound being heard amidst all the noise as muscles snapped. It took one more jerk and a loud pop for the creature to actually break her arm, taking a good chunk of arm away from her in one glorious spray of blood.

Yui looked to her left to see that a portion of her arm was missing as her vision began to fade, quickly covering herself with her spear and making her way towards the child, to try to put herself in between the creature and it.

She simply sat herself down to try to conserve energy, just a little ways in front of the infant. With her spear in her hand, blood pouring from the remainder of her arm as she stared at the creature until, inevitably..

Yui's vision finally faded completely as she blacked out whilst sitting there, attempting to defend the child until the end.
