J'asha has rigged the fight. He gave the Nyanqins sharp weapons and the Earthlings dull weapons. All Nyanqin fighters gain weapon str bonus of 100. Last nyan has gained 100 def.

William opened his eyes, and nodded to his captors.  One last training,  He knew he had to get stronger.  One thing observing his companions over the last week had yielded was that they were stronger then him.  He didn't feel bad about this, he had never been the best in track and field team either.  However this was survival and he needed to be stronger then he was if he hoped to survive.  

He followed J'asha out to the field and looked at his opponents.  They looked strong.  and they were an organized team.  something he was lacking.  He felt this would be a tough battle.... Whatever it took to survive. He reminded himself of that. he felt the weight of the sword.  it was not something he had ever held before coming here.  He wondered if he could get hold of some throwing javelins.  The javelin toss had always been one of his best events.  But he was thankful for the sword training, he knew he was the weakest of the seven on the field, but he was curious to see just how far he could go.

Sylvan felt his blood boil as one of his "allies" received a heavy blow. Clearly enraged, he reached up and swept his hair off to the side angrily before charging the nearest Nyanqin. With his hair out of the way he could clearly see the cat before him, the muscles in his arms flexing as he gripped the hilt of his sword enough to cause the leather wrapped around it to creak.


He was hesitant, perhaps even a little sweaty as he confronted the Nyanqin. His anger only strengthened his resolve as he brought his opposite hand to grip the hilt of his sword as well, pulling it back and off to the side whilst keeping the tip aimed at the dumb cat before him.


"Uhhhhh...." He managed to say, something cool coming to mind but not quite forming into words. His unformed words instead formed into a battle cry of sorts, practically yelling in the Nyanqin's face as he drove his blade forward. "....UuuuuUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" He drove the blade towards the Nyanqin, then pulled it back and drove it towards them again. His anger was making his attacks wild, one thrust heading for the shoulder while another clearly went for the face.

Yui looked over to see one of her current allies take a hit and watched as another ran up and completely plastered one of the Nyanquin. "That one's a tough one.." She thought before catching a glimpse of the Nyanquin standing before her. She couldn't really tell what he was trying to do, since insults she knew didn't exactly line up with what cat people knew, but for whatever reason this cat was pissing her off!!

Her feet kicked up dirt as she stormed towards the Nyanquin, her hair flailing around behind her as she lowered her spear as if to charge him. She slid to a stop with the Nyanquin just within her spears range, her hair flying forward and nearly obstructing her view as she brought the spear back and grabbed it with both hands.

The spear was old, worn and lacked any form of leather or anything to help hold it, so she simply gripped it harder to ensure it wouldn't go anywhere. The well-toned muscles in her arms and legs became clearly visible as she shifted into a stance to give herself more stability, sliding one foot closer to the Nyanquin and angling herself so that the side she was holding the spear on was closer.

Without warning the spear shot forward with speed and skill that only someone trained like she had been could have accomplished, the spear being guided towards the Nyanquin's chest before being pulled back and thrust forward once more. She was much more precise with a spear than she could ever be with anything else, making consecutive strikes toward the Nyanquin with attempted attacks to the shoulders and the dumb cats chest.


"This'll teach you to be a smug bastard." She thought to herself, the thought of trying to seriously wound the Nyanquin popping into her mind for a brief moment, but she shook it off.

A sharp pain shot through her spine, her mouth frowning heavily as she found herself knocked off balance and falling forwards. She had just gotten hit from behind, hard. Getting knocked down was nothing new to her, her training pretty much demanded it to strengthen her ability to stay upright. Unfortunately this time she was caught off guard, being hit hard enough to actually cause her not only to fall, but to fall towards the person she had just been stabbing at a moment ago.

Her heart froze as everything seemed to slow down, she knew she was going to take a lot more than just one hit if she fell face first in front of two enemies. So she tossed the spear forward just slightly, keeping it within her reach as she ducked her head down and rolled herself into a ball, turning her fall into a roll so that she could get back to her feet faster.

She made one full rotation on the ground until she was upright once more, grabbing the spear as she shot back up to her feet, almost launching herself off the ground in the process. The person she had been stabbing at with her spear was still standing however, and had shifted to take advantage of the opening that his ally provided.

The nyanquin before her struck out three times with his weapon, catching her before she hit the ground. She took all three hits to the torso, two of them hitting her in the stomach and one of them hit her in the left breast. It stung and shifted her back ever so slightly, but it was more or less ineffective. Maybe J'Asha's harsh training had actually toughened her up a little bit, or maybe this cat was just that weak.

Either way, she'd get her revenge soon..

Yui set her feet on the ground after taking the Nyanquin's blows, a wicked smirk forming on her face from the ineffectiveness of the Nyanquin that had been getting on her nerves earlier. She pulled her spear back and let go of it slightly, allowing it to slide back so that her hand was closer to the blade. The nyanquin was closer than he was earlier, so she had to adjust for the shorter range.

She was still angry, though mostly at the Nyanquin behind her rather than the one in front of her. She wasn't about to expose her back to the cat in front of her just to get revenge, though. Instead, she would have to show the overconfident cat just how weak he really was.

Her smirk turned into some sort of awkward angry grin as the adrenaline started kicking in. She was starting to enjoy the combat as she struck out against the Nyanquin with her spear, almost copying her earlier actions as her attacks were less precise than before. She aimed most of the blows towards the Nyanquin's chest, though the last one clearly went straight for the face.

With that single action she was reminded of how she removed her sparring partner's eye back in her past life, quickly regaining her stern facial expression as well as her composure. She could hear laughter in her head, quiet compared to the events going on around her, but it was still there.
