| And so the inevitable happened. The event that Sylvan tried to steer away from. Death. The one of the nyanquins on stand-by had killed the man he was supposed to kill. Killed him while he was unconscious. Sylvan felt relief and that same time disgusted with what he felt.He was relieved he didn't kill the man his fellow human. But he felt bad for the man as the man died unknowing he was killed. But was it for the best? To die not knowing? or to see for yourself how you will die? Sylvan tensed up, bracing himself for what was to happen. This time he wasn't gonna hold back. They may be alive, but they're not human. They're monsters, and they will pay for every blood that was spilled today.He felt sick after seeing the sword go through the man's head, he wanted to throw up, but he knew his life was on the line. So he gulped, swallowing the sick that was threatening to come out of his mouth."To Stay Alive? Lady…You don't know me.." He said sharply.If he was going to die for his defiance, so be it. He was afraid to die sure, but he wasn't gonna die bowing down. He already made the choice of defying them, it wouldn't make much sense if he took back his actions and words. No, he had to live through with it. He took a couple of steps backwards and touched the wall behind him, making sure that no one could get him from behind. It was street brawling 101, make sure your back can't be hit. Always have your enemies upfront.He leaned his back on the wall, but ready to spring at any moment, his feet was on tiptoe, just in case he needs to dash or jump out of the way. He wasn't gonna take chances, He wasn't gonna die. | Sylvan carefully watched their movements as they moved into formation, covering each other, making sure there were no gaps that could be exploited in their formation. His eyes narrowed as he realized that it was going to be a far more pain in the ass that he expected. Suddenly one Nyanquin gestured to him, underestimating him. It pissed Sylvan off, not to mention his arm was still bleeding from that gash that he had earlier from his little skirmish with the dead man that lay on the floor a few steps away from him, and it could be his similar fate if he does not do something about it.While Sylvan was distracted by the pain on his arm and the taunt towards him, He failed to notice one of the Nyanquins was gone. From the corner of his eye, he saw the Nyanquin pounce and lunge its blade towards him. He quickly pushed himself away from the wall by kicking it with his feet, the first strike missed, however the second one made its mark on him, he felt the blunt force of the strike as he fell. The other Nyanquin was close, Sylvan quickly rolled to his side, before picking himself up and then kicking the other feline away before it would be able to corner and strike him with its planned position.575-278= 297 Damage taken 2800-297= 2503 HP left. | "COVER" has been NERFED, after this battle the Skill will no longer have DEFEND effect. Damage will no longer be divided by 2. It will go directly to the skill user's DEF or MDEF and then to the HP. | |

| It was useless. No matter how hard he struck it didn't affect them. They were toying with him, and he knew it. Despite them not talking, Sylvan knew he was being played around with for being defiant. He couldn't fight as he had no weapon and he was bitter about it. Perhaps he didn't know how to wield one, nor to handle one. But maybe, just maybe if he was given a sword. Maybe it would've turned out different, even by a slight margin.
While he was running around while dodging, a lucky strike got him and he was hit on the back. Sylvan shouted in pain, before the second hit, came down on him, draining him of his energy. He fell down to his knees, his whole body in pain. But his spirit undeterred.
"I'm gonna kill you all someday…" He cursed beneath his breath as he seethed with hate. Sylvan coughed up blood from the blunt force he received on his back. "I swear it…"
