Shaking his head at the futility of the thugs' actions, the armored knight took a moment to center himself, closing his eyes and breathing in then out before he opened them again, narrowing at the onrushing idiots. After all, sometimes you have to beat stupidity out of people, and when it's done the first time, others will line up for similar treatment. He loathed having to do this, but if he didn't, who would? That boy from before barely did anything before he got his ass handed to him. He hoped the new guy lasted longer.

Ace got up off the floor and shook his head a bit. He soon noticed that another fight had started, and a wand had been rolled at his feet. After putting the wand in his pocket, he rushed forward to help his... acquaintances?

Shaking his head at the idiocy that was the Spades, Thomas looked on as the jacket-wearing staff-fighter landed a couple hits. Knowing this would drag on far too long if left as is, he looked at the three that weren't attacked and charged, striking at one after the other after the other.

The five thugs fell quickly,  they had expected backup..  but it seemed the backup had been pulled to search the area for the witch.  the thugs scampered off after the beating.
