The two Spades looked at their enemies waiting for Nigel to call for the match to start.  They were nervous about the knight,  he was an unknown and they decided to be wary of him.  but they looked at Ace, he seemed to be the weaker of the two and they decided to target him first with their battle plans drawn up the nodded to Nigel they were ready to begin and Waited for the duel to start

Staring down the two Spades, Thomas couldn't help but snort mentally. Apparently they were of the strength-in-numbers-but-weak-separately type by the way they were looking at him. Now he almost felt like the bully but then he remembered the children they were about to kill and his eyes narrowed. He would teach these fools a lesson if it was the last thing he did. And they would be lucky to walk away with only injured pride. As a great man (OOC: All hail Lelouch!) once said, "the only ones who should kill, are the ones prepared to be killed", and these brats were about to learn why they shouldn't pick on those incapable of defending themselves.

Nigel nodded to everyone and said "Lets begin."

Without a second thought the two thugs charged forward in unison targeting the weaker looking Ace with a flurry of slashes

Frowning at how poorly the boy that proclaimed himself his fighting partner was performing, Thomas decided to go after the one that he didn't attack. He was all for standing up for others, but if you are too weak to protect yourself, then it's better to leave it to the experts. "Prepare yourself, for I am not as weak as him."

The first thug took Ace's blows and laughed at him.  "It will take a lot more then that to take me down"  but he was taken aback by his partner getting flung past him by the knight's assualt.  

"we need to deal with the whelp so we can focus on this ringer."  the second yelled and wiping the blood out of his eyes they charged once more at Ace hoping to knock him down so they could bumrush the knight.

(sorry i took so long to reply, i had to take care of some irl things... yep he's down for the count.)

After taking a few hits at the grunts, Ace was attacked by both men at the same time. Double teamed you might say. He was subsequently sent flying into the crowd. 

What the hell happened...? Why is everything so blurry? 


Ace turned his eyes to the knight still fighting. Oh... that's what happened. Hehe... seems like i lost huh? I wonder why... why is that guy so strong?


And then Ace's vision went black as he lost consciousness.

Not particularly pleased with how easy the kid went down, Thomas rolled his eyes skyward. Shaking his head as the boy was sent flying into the crowd. Honestly, why did he get involved? Getting himself killed would do neither himself or the kids any good.

"I see you beat the boy. Ah well, that just leaves the three of us. I hope you last longer than he did."

And with that he launched himself at the two. First sending a strike at the thug already weakened from his previous assault and then sending a heavy slash at the one that the boy had tried to beat with his fists.

the two thugs were looking at their handiwork with the boy.  They never even saw the knight's swift and brutal attack.  In unison they Fell to the ground unconscious.   Nigel clapped appreciatively to him, "Well fought."
