Character Appearance and Personality: Zale Corin is a overconfident, selfish bastard. He's 6'5", taller than your average prick. The typical bad boy with no future type of deal. He's also got a stern figure, nothing fancy, just what he needs to make it through the day. Among his numerous hobbies and activities, his most favorite is gambling, but he's not a very good at losing.

The only thing he likes more than gambling, is women. Zale is a real playboy and womanizer. He likes to spend his family's ill-earned riches on women. Often, he's seen walking around with two or more ridiculously hot girls by his side.

On a more serious note, Zale practices pyromancy. He doesn't take his studies of magic seriously though, he prefers doing other things like partying, playing around, and not being responsible for anything. Life to him, is one big joke and he could care less what happens to everyone just as long as he's enjoying himself.

Character History: Zale Corin is the only son of a rich aristocrat working for the Empire. He was spoiled as a child, so now he runs around the place thinking he owns everything. His family is indeed very wealthy, probably one of the richest families in Thanatos.

His parents discovered that Zale had magic properties soon after his birth. The flames on candles and torches will bend towards Zale, if he was close enough. As the years passed, his affinity to fire only got stronger, and it was becoming harder and harder for Zale to control. His abilities linked directly to his emotions. When Zale was happy, the fires were normal. But when he was angry, his rage reflected on the flames, causing them to behave aggressively.

Over the years, his parents have learned a way to control Zale's powers. By keeping their son happy, they were able to control Zale's powers until such time that he was old enough to learn how to use them. However, Zale takes his training very lightly because he thinks he already knows the secret to his powers, he just has to stay happy and nothing bad will happen.

Being the spoiler bastard that he is, Zale decided to travel. He was getting sick and tired of his life in Thanatos and wanted to see the world on his own. He stole a lot of money from his father, the night before he left. He left Thanatos carrying over 500,000 gil, but after gambling it and spending it all away, he arrived in Wrozan with just 100 Gil left in his pocket.
